It has been more than 5 year since the devastating  7.8 magnitude of earthquake struck Nepal on April 25, 2015 that took nearly the lives of more than 9000 people lost their lives and affected more than 22,000 suffered injured with a message of what next?

Still after 5 years as  the reconstruction process is ongoing and it seems Nepal is still not prepared and has not learnt it lesson.

Date: July 10 2015
Location: Jagdol Camp

The sherpa Camp is  located at Jagdol where people from Gumba Tembathang-9, Kyangsing-8, Lagarche-1 have been refuging. Rayznews Team  supplied them with Education Material -Notebooks- Pencils- Sharpeners -Erasers-Food materials -Women sanitation -Medical supplies

Feeling overwhelmed and satisfied with our support to the sherpa camp in Jagadol. We provided the children educational materials, women with sanitation stuffs and some food supplies. This is an expression. I could say at least we were able to do this. Thank you my friends. We can proudly say we were able to be some assistance for their studies . We change at individual and we will rise

We were distributing and she was studying and writing in the same notebook that we distributed.
So proud to say that we are helping people who really deserve. Proud to say we are bridging the gaps where our small effort can give hope and light for others ..

After 5 years it seems like a nightmare where today there are bigger issues of Corona 19, accountability, and political stability  which is engulfing the nation.  The country on one hand is lacking preparedness and on the other hand the country is not able to manage the funds received for COVID properly. With this issue the youth are out in the streets, protesting. The main point is, is this the time to protest?
The protest is further infiltrated by political vigilante or so-called invisible forces  creating a situation of mistrust and chaos. The chaos was said to be a diversion for the MCC grant which was hugely criticized but the majority but the government was full set to swing into action with the government.

Till date the

Corona virus Cases: 16,719
Deaths: 38
Recovered: 8,442

The government seems  not to be prepared and has no exist strategy setup. They have left the country at the strategy of lock down and what next?  The people are demanding accountability and transparency where corruption is rising in the name of crisis management.

1. Infrastructure setup -Quarantine facilitates
2. Availability of respirators
3. Quality human resource
4. Medical equipment and supplies
5. Crisis management team
6. Communication strategy
7. Mitigation strategy

Looking at the current practice, the Nepal Government lacks every point in context of  crisis management  modality.  All of the above points mentioned have been either ignored or has been cleared out. The government is heedlessly moving with the intention of spending the money received.

The real problem
1. The country has just phase out decentralization in the country with the federal system
2. Lack of effective communication strategy
3. Lack of Transparency and Accountability
4. Lack of Leadership
5. Lack of Democratic practice
