An Expression

A bright star shines upon the sky

Twinkling and shining, I wish I could fly

I looked upon it and it smiled in ever bliss

Just a passion of expression in my heart that I miss

So many hopes and aspirations, and life moves on

But yet I feel shallow for what needs to be done

Trying to spread my wing in the glory of satisfaction

But what is it that impedes me from emancipation

Is this the test of my destiny or is it the test of my will?

My determination and focus seeks new zeal

Coming up from each day, takes courage to stand up alone

It’s a big fight where you hold yourself or else you’re blown

I will not quite or give up, as I’ve learnt my ways falling down

Just don’t forget, I’m behind, moving on for that crown
