KATHMANDU, September 9: The central Bank of Nepal Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a notice to the public regarding any transaction done in Crypto currency or any form of  usage and mining is illegal in the country and punishable by law.
In the notice, The NRB clearly states the current rise of Crypto mining and usage by various individual in various form of payment and other illegal means. There are various threats regarding crypto currencies and various cases have immerged in context of cyber crime and fraud. The central bank has been closely monitoring such cases and hugely brings in attention the public and at-large in context of public welfare.
If you are found guilt with involvement of usage or mining of crypto currency, the accused will face legal actions under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act 2019.
