After reaching the second deadline of the Constitutional Assembly (CA) the CA members have protested inside the CA vandalizing the property and showcasing an erratic behavior of public disgrace. According to sources the UCPN and its supporter have vandalized the property of CA assembly hall for not prioritizing their agenda on 20 January at 1 am in the morning. The meeting which was schedule amid the second deadline of CA on finalizing the unsolved issues of Constitution has been postponed for 1 pm in the afternoon.
The Maoist-led alliance of 30 opposition parties has been debating about the basis and number of federal units to be constituted in the new federal practice. The same group on January 20 has announced a nationwide general strike.
Highlighting their 16 years of conflict they have been demanding a ethnic based federal system with cultural identity where the other political parties have been opposing the proposed system.
Though a political instability rules in the country but political leaders showcasing such outrage and chaos before the second dissolution of the CA term certainly means its hard and unfortunate to have no constitution situation.
