USA, Washington D.C: The Google Inc is about to host an international conference “Internet at Liberty 2012: Promoting Progress and Freedom” on online freedom from May 22 to 24, 2012 in Washing D.C. With high success against SOPA, PIPA and ACTA, the digital world of activism has been very effective against the curbing policies and mechanism that were threatening the online freedom of expression around the world. Highlighting the reach and effectiveness of standardization Google has initiated the conference.
The conference is thought to be participated by activists and experts from all over the world exploring pros and cons of free expression in the digital age.
