Journalist arrested for posting edited pictures of President and Prime minister in Nepal

Saroj Niraula a journalist from Udayapur has been arrested by  Nepal Police for Cyber crime against posting a photo of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Oli.

According to the Nepal Police,Udayapur, “The Cyber Crime Monitoring cell issued the arrest warrant under the Electronic Transaction Act  to arrest Niraula for posting the picture in the social networking site Facebook.”

Niraula has been release and has publicly apologized for his action through his social media account.
