Last Rights of Yeshi Performed

Dharmasala, India, March 30, 2012: The “FREE TIBET” hero Jamphel Yeshi whose pictures were seen protesting everywhere from walls of social networking sites to news, last rights or funereal was performed according to Tibetan tradition here on Friday in Dharmasala.

Yeshi , 27 lit himself on fire as an act of self immolation in and against the Chinese government rule in Tibet on Monday. Hundreds and thousands of Tibetan exiles from all over India had gathered to support and farewell Yeshi where he was honored with Tibetan national anthem followed by prayers.

With the search of identity the Tibetan exiles have been practicing the act of self immolation from the past few years where more than 30 cases have been witnessed.
