Kathmandu March 27, 2012:  Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again raised prices in Petroleum products. NOC has been complaining about the significant loss of more than NRS 1 Billion. To be specific, NOC was been bearing a  loss of Rs. 14.03 per litre in diesel, Rs. 563.40 per cylinder in cooking gas where the company was making a profit in petrol by Rs. 0.26 per litre, kerosene by Rs. 1.26 per litre and aviation turbine fuel (duty paid) by 20.30 per litre,  respectively.
After the price hike of  petroleum products, the new cost are  petrol Nrs 120 per litre, kerosene Rs. 89 per litre and diesel Rs. 89 per litre where  the price of the cooking gas (LPG) and aviation fuel have not been changed .
