Thousands of supporters and the normal public took it to streets  in Kathmandu to draw the government’s attention to the  demands of Dr KC. The Supporter of DR KC organized a peaceful rally on Saturday started from Maitighar Mandala up to New Baneshwor which was participated by more than 8000 people.
The rally focused on  messages of ‘#IamPagal’ (I am crazy) ‘#IamwithDrKC’  and ‘#Loktantra not #Lokmantantra’.
Dr KC has been demanding CIAA chief Karki of misusing of authority and endorsement of the Health Professional Education Commission Bill with amendments to ensure free MBBS seats in government medical schools and establishing medical colleges in each province.
One of the most controversial issues has been the withdrawal of a bill that will establish Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences as an academy to run MBBS courses. The MIHS is run by CPN-UML supporters and its chief is Rajendra Pandey, a UML parliamentarian.
