The facbook popular messaging application WhatsApp has been blocked by the Brazilian government from the Wednesday for a total of 48 hours, starting at midnight.
The action came into reality when it Failed to respond to the court orders of São Bernardo do Campo dated 23 July, 2015. On 7 August , 2015, the company was notified again of being subject to fixed penalty in case of non-compliance. Failure to address the summon What’s was blocked for 48 hours.
