The barbaric gang rape and killing of  the eight year old Asifa Bano in the Kathua, India has created a ripple around the world against Violence Against Women and Rape culture.

According to the police investigation, “She was taken to a culvert in front of a temple where she had been kept in captivity, and sedated, for four days in Rasana village of Kathua district and the little girl was gang-raped and then killed.”

Sadly the  case is an example of child rape with the controversy of Muslim vs the Hindu where communalization has simply slowed the process of justice. Asifa the victim was a Muslim and  her alleged assailants are Hindu which has simply brought in front the issue of Hindu Vs Muslim . It is believed that after kidnapping the assailant was kept the victim near a hindu temple  in a ­Hindu-dominated area, now the situation has so worsen that  religious tensions and ­nationalism issues are rising. The government is silent due to the issue but there seems to be just words, its an acts against humanity and a child anywhere around the world  and of no religion deserves that.

Reality is a child had to suffer so much and her victim are still waiting for trial what kind of society is this, where there is no value of human emotions and feelings

Various protest around the world is happening in support of justice for Asifa and The Indian government should take strict actions against the culprits.
