The Internet Governance Forum(IGF) has announced its new list of Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) members for the year 2018. The Advisory Group members are from all stakeholder groups and all regions, representing Governments, civil society, the private sector and technical community. All Advisory Group members serve in their personal capacity, but are expected to have extensive linkages with their respective stakeholder groups. The main task of the Advisory Group is to provide advice on the preparations for the Thirteen meeting of the Internet Governance Forum.

The first Open Consultations and MAG meeting of the IGF 2018 preparatory cycle will take place on 19–22 March 2018, at the heardquarters of the International Telecommunication Union, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event will bring together members of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) and the broader IGF community for discussions on the IGF 2018 meeting and intersessional processes, as well as the programme and structure of the IGF 2018 meeting and other ongoing IGF activities.
