TikTok the social media application has been officially banned
in India with the rise in number of accident and death case in relation to the
app users. The app was banned in April after an Indian court ruled that it
could expose children to sexual predators, pornographic content and
cyberbullying. TikTok appealed the decision, saying it had cracked down on
inappropriate content, and the court reversed its ruling.
TikTok had amassed 120 million monthly
users in India. TikTok has already surged back into the Top 10 app of download
trend.
