In Nepal from the past 4 years the Nepalese people have been waiting for their constitution but time after time the Constitution Assembly members have been expanding the constitution declaration dates . The 601 member were selected to make and facilitate the Constitution process but time after time their involvement in criminal activities and other irregularities has further question their credibility and work operation. Allegations of the CA members enjoying the benefits and prolonging the Constitution declaration date has always been questionable. Time after time, the supreme court of Nepal questioning the legality of the CA’s prolongation has further created a situation of legality as well.
With power comes great responsibilities but on contrary our leaders have been doomed by power and the situation of Nepal is worsening day by day affecting and confronting various issues of
-Freedom of expression
-Human rights
-Security issue
Admit lack of political culture and lack of understanding in between the political parties, Nepal’s situation is getting worst with no possible solution. The political parties in CA reason the constitution to be a question of reputation and standard where as constitution itself is not an autonomous body it has to be expanded and self tuned according to time and situation.
POWER SHARING, PEAC PROCESS and FEDERLISM PRACTISE are the major issue where public memorandum can be best solution but the political parties are ignoring the solution and are further planning to extend the CA terms.
The current constitution deadline is on May 27, 2012 where the political parties are further planning to extent the time. As part of our protest we have been protesting through various means
